On an overcast Friday in October we once again joined the fantastic folks at Wiseberrys Peninsula for the annual The Big Bowl 2025 — a fun-filled community day of lawn bowls, auctions, laughter and serious heart.

Local business teams rolled up their sleeves (and polished their bowling shoes) to raise a whopping $18,000 for Mary Mac’s Place, a vital community kitchen and drop-in centre in Woy Woy that provides hot, nutritious meals, showers, laundry facilities and a safe place to simply belong — for men, women, families and older Australians doing it tough.

At Quest we were proud to be part of the day — and so impressed by the generosity, energy and connection that flowed from every corner of the event.

As our Director Adam said: “Last year was good, but this year was even better… the vibe was awesome.” And as Andrew put it: “The turnout was fantastic, the weather held out, and most importantly, plenty of money raised for Mary Mac's!” The team even leaned into the theme and cracked a few tagline jokes on the day: “Let us bowl you over with our expert accounting skills” had us all laughing at our own jokes (and trying not to roll the wrong way!).

Quest Accountants partners with businesses in multiple locations across Australia, and no matter where we are, we believe local business have a huge part to play in community.

Events like The Big Bowl remind us that when we come together, good things happen. Huge thanks to Wiseberrys Peninsula and everyone involved — we’re already looking forward to The Big Bowl 2026. Find out more about the event here: The Big Bowl 2025
